Pros

Good flexibility for family and work balance. Salary was competitive and commissions used to be great. Great automotive and remarketing experience

Cons

Very political. Not about what you know, but about who you know. If you are not in the network of people, you never will be and advancement will be almost impossible. A bunch of "yes" men in management and will not let employees speak their true mind, even though they tell you to.

Pros

Solid company, treats employees well, open to advancement, great benefits, new leadership.

Cons

We went through a tough period recently, change was needed. Some employees didn't realize we are in the auto industry and thought we were exempt from the downturn.

Pros

Cox Benefits A paycheck to get the bills taken care of

Cons

Disorganized. Project management is non-existent. Managers are at the disposal of the whims of upper "Leadership" and the trickle down is horrible. When one of the organization "Leaders" gets an idea, everything is expected to happen then and there - all rush projects are still expected to be completed in addition to the new rush project. No respect for subject matter experts. Because the top management shows no respect to their group, the disrespect continues to trickle down through the ranks. I've never seen more pettiness and people trying to "pin blame" on others. The reason for many employee errors around here are because of constantly changing priorities. When setting goals for employee review comparison - know that these goals will be unattainable because whatever they are set upon will be important at the time, time will be wasted to accomplish it, and priorities will change - without goals to work toward, as an employee, you are lost. Because upper management does not support lower management, do not expect your manager to be able to properly support or encourage you. In this economy, its just a paycheck - but i've never received worse treatment in my life.
