Growth, Employee Treatment, Travel, Flexibility. Great folks to work with. Opportunities abound if you are willing to travel the globe.

Cons

Compensation Package, Smoke Stacks, Rice Bowls. Segments sometimes don't work together. Recent M&A still have senior employees avoiding full Manitowoc philosophy. Compensation package change not explained.

Pros

Good upper level management that is interested in their employees. Pays for training and helps employees with college.

Cons

Layoffs are common and job security can be shaky especially as a contractor. Employees at the assembly and manufacturing level feel neglected by management with regard to compensation and they feel disposable.

Has a good portfolio of different brands.

Cons

Undergoing a massive reorganization which has resulted with the brands no longer having any autonomy. People have been reassigned to functions they're either not qualified for or really don't want. In time, they'll probably see a mass exodus of key people as they find other jobs that provide more reward and satisfaction.
