The pay is really good for someone who has only 2 or fewer years of experience. The project I was on also works with some relatively cutting edge technology compared to what I have dealt with.

Cons

The benefits are very bare-bones compared to other companies I have been in. You get less PTO than your average decently paying company employing software engineers. However, it should be noted that in my case the tradeoff between benefits and pay was worth it. The employee systems such as time sheet management are also lacking, and they still have people log their time by filling in PDFs and email them rather than integrating them into something like ADP. There is also no automated system for employees to use to check their PTO.
