Pros

Great co-workers Excellent life/work balance Everyone is well paid, almost too well paid Amazing location Everyone works hard

Cons

Getting to be too bureaucratic Upper management only available to Ivy Leaguers New features of product are half-baked, take too long to develop, and seem to lack innovation

Pros

1. They pay half your commuting costs 2. Kitchen is stacked 3. Micro Management is frowned upon 4. CEO is an actual human being 5. Tenacious - when it comes to getting the deal 6. Good People all around in the organization 7. Deficiencies are "worn on the sleeve" and company is always trying to improve itself.

Cons

1. Dev Cycles are slow 2. Google defines the rules, which means the game can be changed quickly. 3. Services is leaned on heavy to accommodate the lack of supporting 3rd party publisher features. 4. Market moves faster than Software development which means lots of expectation setting with customers anxious to utilize new market features. 5. Margins on Services side are watched closely

Pros

Downtown SF Location - Financial District.

Cons

Test organization is ruled by developers, in short testers are slaves here. There is separate events for all of engineering qa. All the processes in qa are dictated by Developers, there is no independent thinking. qa are treated as second rate citizen here. Less chance for professional skill development. They hire a lot of second rate or non-cs stanford and berkeley candidates. Hires incompetent managers who eventually becomes burden on individual contributors. Politics plays big role. Choose another company if you can.
