kinda stable, kinda easy going.

Cons

The salary is not competitive, and promotions are more focused on people skills rather than technical expertise. As a result, the tech stack remains stagnant, leading to repetitive work that neither enhances your skills nor expands your exposure to new technology.

Pros

Great culture, great people and remote positions allow for lots of flexibility. Good life/work balance and plenty of paid time off.

Cons

Technology is lacking. Company is behind in terms of hardware, software, systems and processes. Company just implemented software at the beginning of 2024 that I was using 8 years ago at a competitor. Management is incredibly resistant to change and/or to implement process improvements even though that’s the company directive. Current processes are chaotic, include vast amounts of waste and are very disorganized. Very little potential for advancement. If it weren’t for the paid time off, annual bonus and perks I never would have stayed this long.
