Pros
Overall, MarketTime has been a great place to work. Having the ability to work remotely has changed our everyday life. We are asked to travel periodically, but only if it is something that we're able to make happen. Our clients are very warm to work with since many of them have worked with us for many years, and the industry is constantly evolving so it's never boring! There are good benefits, and a team of people to work with if you have any trouble navigating how to make the most of what's provided. Some of the relationships that started as co-workers have given me lifelong friendships.
Cons
Working remotely is a double-edged sword. We have to work a little harder to stay connected and maintain some semblance of a work "culture". It can be difficult to get to know some of the people that you work with outside of how you work with them. Sometimes the lines between work and home get a little blurred since everyone has the capability to work from anywhere. I personally love working remotely, but I also know it's not for everyone.
