Pros

I've had a great experience working here. Management has been extremely supportive. Many opportunities to work with other teams on projects.

Cons

This is a large organization, while this brings opportunities, it can also make it difficult to move to different positions. Currently I am doing many different things, but my title has stayed the same.

We are very excited about something that we just launched on our Colleague Connect, the MMC intranet and that is a visual career path. Colleagues can now use a very simple template to show their career journey. Our Executive Committee has completed their career profiles in connection with our Purpose launch.

Pros

Working at MMC has allowed me to stretch my wings and grow my career. I have moved through the company into so many different roles. Additionally, I have made life long friends and colleagues here.

Cons

Technology infrastructure is really dated and limits opportunities for business growth.

Overworked Employees. Zero life/balance. No respect for employees.

Generous vacation and work from home policy.

Cons

Expect to work very long hours and weekends and sacrifice all personal/family time for this company. 80-90 hours is the normal range and overnight hours were very common. I worked on a project that lasted two years and we worked every weekend. Management and executive leadership did nothing to compensate any team member and barely even noticed the commitment it's IT team made to firm initiatives. This resulted in high turnover and low morale.
