Pros

Pretty relaxed environment, not much red tape and good, fun people to work with. Management were good, and collaborative (Commercial and Litigation Teams). Flexible with work arrangements, remote/hybrid. If you just want to cruise this is a good place, but not to climb the career ladder.

Cons

Over time senior management became woke, pushing 3 different welcome to country acknowledgements in a team meeting. Used to be a great place until many CBA/Westpac cronies came and destroyed the broking/insurance culture. Change, system enhancements, pay negotiation and standing out is hard because everything is dictated by NYC head office. New management was pretty disinterested in what lawyers were doing,
