Pros

The company has invested heavily in technology tools and if deployed properly can be used to the client's advantage. Brokers generally have abundant resources at their fingertips.

Cons

In general there is too much bureaucracy and focus on financials.

Pros

Additional resources available to employees not reflected in salary, like discounts at certain stores/venues, etc., colleague resource groups available to build a strong camaraderie outside of work role, flexible work hours. Great benefits packages.

Cons

Little to no communication with upper management outside of the office. Attempting to change processes took a very long time. Generational gap in employees was sometimes difficult to navigate. Limited career opportunities depending on which department you're in, and was difficult to jump to different departments.
