Pros

Professional firm with unlimited resources and excellant growth potential for young employees willing to learn the Insurance brokerage business. Company is constantly in the restructure mode to become more efficient.

Cons

Unfortunately there is a culture of nepotism and patronage among senior executives. Compensation has gone to a sales culture which includes a base salary and discretionary bonus structure.

Pros

Colleagues in the field truly focus on what is right for the clients and work hard for them. Not always easy as employee count shrinks and constant new iniatives. Great coworkers. Very good people in the trenches. A lot of loyalty.

Cons

Having employees go through 4 years of no raises while people were coming on making HUGE >$300k salaries was demoralizing. Appeared top executives were really taken advantage of countries economics woes for the masses. You're lucky to have a job etc. Huge organization. You don't get the sense you matter.

Pros

Resources and depth of knowledge. They can do anything the client asks them to, just need to locate the correct person.

Cons

Lack of consistent leadership. Always changing the way things need to be done each year.
