Pros

-The people. Many of the people who work in the Austin office take much pride in their work, even though it's rarely recognized by Corporate -Good benefits/vacation policy -Career growth: if you know what you want and ask for it, opportunities are available. Your career is what you make of it at Marsh -Austin leaders are smart, positive and progressive -Great place to grow and shape your resume, but not a place for long-term career advancement -Large disconnect between local Austin office and Corporate

Cons

-Compensation is obscenely low, minimal raises. You know something's wrong when the referral bonus is almost double your R&R bonus -Austin office feels like the "bottom of the food chain" -Senior corporate leaders -Rigid work culture -Stagnant growth -Low pay is justified by keeping employees "dumbed down" instead of empowering them -Salary is non-negotiable -It takes a long time for meaningful change to happen
