Pros

Good job for teenagers to get the experience and then decide to go to college.

Cons

Favoritism,Favoritism . Never enough employees scheduled, especially last week (Xmas),our budget is always low, supposedly.Ridiculous low pay for all the work they want you to do,merchandise, customer check out, hanging clothes,recovery,etc,etc.... Very LOW employee discount,no paid time off for PT workers, have to watch for hours worked ,have to make sure the time sheet is correct.

Pros

Friendly associates, Easy to request time off, easy job if you know what you're doing, managers are always available to talk to if you have an issue.

Cons

Can't move up within the company even if you've been working there for a while, Part-Timers aren't guaranteed ANY hours so don't be surprised if you're only working there 1 day a week.

Pros

-the job is easy. -SOME managers are ok and work with you not above you. -the employees at my store are fun to work with. -if you try hard, take ownership, and show a general enthusiasm in your job then (at least in my experience) the managers will respect you, accept your advice, and treat you with overall respect.

Cons

oh boy.... -management often seems incompetent unless they have past job experience. -store seems to over exaggerate the necessity for appearance -management communicates between each other poorly and fails to make company policies clear -some associates are more focused on social interactions then their actual job even when it is directly asked of them to do something. -management is very poor with scheduling. To be more specific they have trouble with the simple task of not scheduling employees on days that they cannot work despite frequent appeals and following through with RTO requests accurately. -frequently understaffed in times when the extra $8/hr for a 4.75 hr shift would be optimal -customers are stupid ('nuff said) -shrink is a major issue and is largely undealt with in seemingly obvious ways. -overall store organization is poor. -hard work is poorly rewarded, bonuses are nonexistent.
