Pros

It rarely gets super busy and the customers are alright. The occasional free food / snacks.

Cons

Security tagging clothes gets really boring after a couple hours but that is to be expected working in a department store.

Pros

Flexible schedule - nobody cares when you work or if you want to take a month of vacation!

Cons

The company represents itself as an amazing place to be, where everyone is happy and everyone has an equal opportunity. In reality, everybody hates each other - there is no real respect, and the workers are constantly looked down on. Don't get me wrong - some stores have amazing managers, but that has nothing to do with the company - they are just great people! Workers cuss the managers behind their backs and managers constantly put the workers down, due to the fact that "head office might be watching". The discount, the respect, the treatment you'll get as a part timer is meager and negligible. Working there is a joke, I would not recommend!

Pros

-Good coworkers/friendly environment -Decent hours -Liberal dress code (tattoos, piercings, coloured hair all allowed) -Supports LGBT,mental health, and diversity issues within the workplace

Cons

-Told to show up 10-15 minutes early and then made to wait outside the store when the manager shoes up 3 minutes to opening -Regularly working up to a half hour past clock-out and closing -Poor communication between managers (scheduled on days you had off and then told YOU have to find the replacement) -Full time workers tired and overworked. MUCH higher number of college students there part time than full-time workers.
