Pros

The work is what you expect it to be for a department store. The closing shift will require a lot of physical activity as you need to return everything to its original spot.

Cons

Will call you out if you are working slowly.

Pros

I do not have anything negative to say about any personal people I work with, they are all pretty great. This review is more towards corporate. Calm atmosphere, Welcoming of (trained) pets, and service dogs. Friendly associates. Wide variety of different selections of (some) things customers are looking for. Employees work very hard to be as well presented, well priced, very good appearance and calm and friendly atmosphere.

Cons

Appearance isn't a well planned layout. How things are put out onto the sales for, as well as the stock room organization. There is definitely effort put in by all the associates into keeping things as organized as possible, from an employee's perspective, I feel that there are just different ways that our products could be presented. Security wise, though well intended, could be a increased a bit more. More and more items are taken out of packages, used and open and left on another shelf in a completely different section. Children run around yelling and playing with toys and materials they have opened and parents aren't doing anything about it, security doesn't do much about it, tags are always being ripped off clothing so continuously asking for price checks is not easy because there is too many different things with different prices all bunched up in a lot of sections, and scattered around in places that don't make sense. I believe there could be a more improved way to help associates in order for them to help the customers.
