Pros

Dining is always the best thing here. You always get nice refreshment with low price. Environment is good. Trial next to Marvell always gives you the best place for biking, running or just walking. Also, you don't want to miss the gym. Take some rest after work and go working out is always a top choice in your daily life.

Cons

Base salary is average in the industry. But considering all benefits, it's acceptable. Also I was expecting some shift position here when I graduated. It would be good if Marvell had such program.

Pros

At the time (2007-2008) food is free. Gym, covered parking, free lunch on weekends if you are on site.

Cons

IN this particular group: un-verified flow is forced to be used, very to no support from management, very incompetent designers produce sub-standard netlist to work with. Unbelivable micro-management from the top; even have the ball to disturb you on Thanksgiving to get things done. Attrition is high (both layoff and voluntary). It's called the "sweat shop" in the industry. Definitely think twice about coming to work here.
