Pros

1. stock ( it used to be the reason) . 2. people are easy to work with and most are very harding working, I like this kind of working environment. 3, I can still learn something there. ASIC design, front end, back end, verification, lab stuffs, FPGA, debuging, testing, on site support customer, pretty much every thing.

Cons

1. low salary ( it's not a secret in marvell, every body complains about this, haha :P). 2. stock ( sadly , now it'a\s the reason ) 3. need to work very long hour, weekday and some weekends . though it's better that the situation was several years ago when mrvl is small..

Pros

when this company was smaller, it's a good place to study and gain knowledge. however it's no more the case now.free food is good but you might always have to worry about poor earning report and associated layoff. in some of the groups, engineers are assign to a broad spectrum of work, including design, all the way toward to the very back end of the project, i.e. physical design and debugging. so it's a good place for new grads to gain experiences.

Cons

clueless management and totally black box organization. always worry about being laid-off if you're in some of the groups.

Pros

The new technology is what lures people here and the benefits/perks also help too. The best reason to work here are the people, meaning co-workers.

Cons

The lack of ownership on projects is dripping down the gutters. Let's move forward and innovate and not fall to the old routine. Marvell is missing the leadership skills from leaders. Maybe they should start hiring managers with people skills and not engineers.
