Pros

Good job security with the backlog of contracts backed up because we can’t get product shipped on time.

Cons

If you like to feel like you are biting the bullet every day, holding back your ideas/thoughts/feedback, come work at Marvin. You will need therapy when you leave out of this place. You will feel drained, underachieved and low. Hard work goes unnoticed here. Management is unqualified and inexperienced in comparison to real management in the industry. Marvin Engineering has lost its touch. There’s no human compassion. Seems like the old timers stick around because they’ve devoted years of their life to the company. As for young talent, I think the curiosity dies after a year or two and they go work for real companies.

Pros

*Full of good and intelligent people, *generous benefits, *diverse equal opportunity employer * very nice /clean campuses

Cons

*Low Pay *Horrible HR department-High turnover there *lots of old timers who get paid to literally do nothing ( that could be money towards a raise for us younger people) *Wayy too many managers, directors, VP's and such.. very top heavy -only considers management input valuable. *Stuck in a time warp in terms of current work trends, i.e offering FT-remote work, as anyone that is not hands on product does not need to be there everyday or ever really.. Soon as Covid is really over they'll probably call everyone back and see another great resignation. Marvin you are not going to get or keep good young talent unless you offer more remote/hybrid opportunities. We follow what gives the best work/life balance and where the money resides, where the money resides!
