Outdoor non-supervised work most of the time. Pay by the job.
Cons
Pay by the job, you have to accomplish more than 5 or 6 services on a regular day to get decent pay, but if those repairs are very bad you can go home with only 25 dollars in your pockets because one bad repair can take the whole day, and you still will only get paid for the closed job. Not so much for production jobs, like installs and upgrades, pay a little better but take a longer time. So you have to move quickly and very fast to get a decent pay but to do that then you have to risk job quality. Supervisors are sometimes very annoying and sometimes even offensive. Very stressing sometimes and have to be able to go on every kind of places like attics, crawl spaces, roofs on houses and also commercial buildings... definitively not for claustrophobic people. Plus remember you'll be working inside customers houses most of the time, so be prepared for everything.
