Pros
The company has a lot of good people there. Standard paid vacation, 401k. Good place to start if you just graduated from college or are transitioning to a new career - learn what you can here and use that to move on somewhere else.
Cons
Salary isn’t high enough. Health benefits are too expensive - could be better. During the interview process they show you the nice building used to film movies and TV shows, the cafe, the gym and volleyball/ping pong courts. You don’t know about the multiple people who have quit so others have to take on additional tasks in addition to their regular jobs until you start working there. You don’t know about the managers that argue and yell in the middle of the meetings until you see it for yourself. Or how 1/2 the time all-hands meetings are a forum used to praise the CEO for everything he does as if he is an almighty being until you attend them. Favoritism is very prevalent - they will take care of you if you show loyalty to them (stock options, promotions, better bonuses) which has nothing to do with how you perform or contribute to the company’s success overall. Not enough diversity - severe lack of women in senior management. If you are of a certain nationality and/or speak a certain language, you’re immediately treated better. If you go on vacation, make sure they can reach you if they have questions and be prepared to come back to nothing getting done while you were gone because your team is overworked.
