Unreliable Home Office

Business Outlook

Pros

Flexible work schedule and location.

Cons

Unresponsive home office. When they do reply, there is very little support. You are expected to conduct your own marketing and gather your own clients but they have a very strict control on how they want to illustrated in the marketplace making nearly any type of media denied. No social media allowed (besides LinkedIn). Very unappealing commission splits in the first few years. You have to pay to work there ie. you pay a technology fee, your own E&O insurance (with their picked provided), and heavy splits go to the company. If you have a 1% advisory fee for your clients, they take 60%.
