      overall a decent company, but not very transparent with employees

      Pros

      Good benefits, good salary, leadership listens to their employees and makes changes to policies when they need changing. Not a lot of micromanagement.

      Cons

      Management can be a little hands off at times even in situations where they should get involved. Professional development assistance is great if you're looking to get a degree, but is a little hazy on what's allowed for just taking a course here and there for your own advancement. Leadership's not great at transparency with employees when it comes to organizational changes.

      Pros

      Employees are very dedicated to the agencys mission/s and work hard meet their goals. The culture is truly collaborative which makes for an exciting work environment. People care about the quality of their work and take pride in accomplishments. Processes work extremely smoothly which makes for an efficient and rewarding workplace.

      Cons

      There are currently 3 divisions working on different strategic goals. I think there is a larger capacity for this org, and the State should rely ( and fund) them more heavily on them for economic development.

      Pros

      Employees are committed and fully engaged in the work. Processes run very smoothly and employees are proud of their work (and work quality) which means things get done very efficiently. Truly a collaborative work environment with a positive culture.

      Cons

      Right now there are 3 divisions which focus on 3 areas of economic development, would be nice to see the State give the Co some more directives as it has proven it gets the work done in a high quality and timely fashion. Think if it had more resources it could really provide many more results.
