Pros

Central Phoenix location and near freeway

Cons

When going through their hiring and training process, you'll be repeatedly told about the company being family-owned and that you'd be joining them not only as an employee but as member of their warm extended family. Ironically, the family-owned nature of the company is precisely the reason the workplace is a nightmare. They have children and siblings occupying key positions. These people inherited their jobs and cannot be removed for unprofessional conduct or incompetence. This is why you'd frequently hear top people scream profanity out their offices, refer to women as "chicks", blurt out political comments and other bad behavior. Favoritism is a serious issue. Suddenly, your peer would be chosen for better shifts or promotion opportunities -- and that person would almost always be the one who socializes with a manager outside work. During my time there, there was no open bidding processes for shifts and advancement. They don't even bother giving an illusion of fairness. Going to HR to complain about a family member is job suicide for obvious reasons. Since key people are selected through inheritance and enjoys absolute job security, the quality of management is dismal which is why this company does not grow and there are virtually no advancement opportunities.

Pros

Close to home. Franchised for TE Connectivity

Cons

Be ready to eat the corporate feces with a spoon. They will look for ways to pay you less and compensate with corporate culture akin to the Third Reich. If you are an individual with intelligence or creativity, this is not for you.

Not Worth It

Pros

Close to the freeway and parks

Cons

If you like to be micromanaged and asked "So you were a little late today. Why?" after being in traffic for 1.5 hours, this is the place for you. Rigid work schedules. I'm on salary and felt like an hourly employee. Had to be there exactly at 8 and leave exactly at 5. If you like to take your lunch for an hour, you can forget being there long term. Also, there are no communications and when you had training, you wouldn't find out until you overhear lunch was being brought in. Parking is a joke and God forbid you park where the CEO parks. Speaking of CEO, he would walk by my desk without introducing himself or greet me. A very loud work environment where you don't get any peace for 8-9 hours a day. Very cult-like environment where people have been there for decades and don't treat you well and don't welcome you. You're expected to perform without any help, guidance, and training.
