Pros

Nothing good about this company

Cons

There are several issues within this company, spanning from the warehouse staff to the HR team. Unnecessary gossip and drama are prevalent, and unfortunately, the HR director and manager contribute to it, exacerbating the situation for employees they dislike. If you are favored, you’re treated well, but if not, it becomes a toxic environment. When employees approach the HR director for assistance, they are often redirected to others in the department, creating a sense of avoidance. Favoritism is also a significant problem in the warehouse, where those who aren't well-liked are subjected to unfair treatment, making their work environment miserable and seemingly forcing them out.

A Company That Cares

Pros

-Excellent World Class Healthcare -Fun Office Culture -Great Employees, In general theres little people with negative attitude problems, everyone is pretty cool Overall, the owners really DO care about us, more than your typical corporation. The healthcare initiative was incredible and they dont raise rates on us, they eat the cost every year. I love this company and would 100% recommend working here!

Cons

In my opinion, the ONLY con is the forced 3 days in office every week, and every quarter we have a "power week" where we are in all 5 days. Really stressful for parents and care takers. I also dont get as much done that week because the office is chatty & distracting, and im exhausted by Friday so I cant give my family 100%. I know they mean well, but we dont have wives and EAs to do all of our misc work for us. Some of us have a long commute and families to take care of. They need to understand that power weeks DRAIN us, not energize us. Those precious 2 days at home save us a commute, save us from distractions, allow us to get caught up with work.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for being a valued part of Master Electronics for over six years! We’re thrilled to hear that you appreciate our healthcare initiatives, culture, and team dynamics. Remaining true to our core values, such as “We Care” and “We Embrace Visionary Thinking,” is at the heart of what we do, and it’s rewarding to know our efforts are making a difference. We recognize the importance of work-life balance, which is why we offer a hybrid schedule to provide flexibility and support for our team members. At the same time, we understand your concerns about the hybrid schedule and "Power Week." These initiatives are designed to foster collaboration, connection, and interdepartmental teamwork, aligning with our commitment to bringing employees together in meaningful ways. However, we recognize that the structure of "Power Week" may not work for everyone. Your feedback is invaluable, and we’d love to hear your ideas on how we can better achieve our goal of connecting employees while supporting work-life balance. Please feel free to reach out to us at hrneeds@masterelectronics.com or stop by the People Team office to share your thoughts. Thank you again for your thoughtful input and for being an integral part of the Master Electronics family. We remain committed to listening, learning, and adapting to continuously improve the employee experience.
