Cons

While Master Electronics offers a dynamic and supportive work environment, there are areas that could benefit from improvement. Communication within teams and across departments can be inconsistent at times, leading to confusion and missed opportunities for collaboration. Additionally, there is a need for more focus on future leadership development to ensure a strong pipeline of leaders who can guide the company forward

More Than Just a Company

Pros

It's a thrill to be a part of an organization actively seeking to be the best version of itself, more than just a company, by extension challenging us as employees to do the same professionally and personally. And, that is not easy. Things are not perfect at Master, and that goes for every company. None are perfect for every one of its employees. The difference here is our leaders proactively seek feedback, the good, the bad, and the ugly, to action and get to the root cause of issues and fix them. Whether it’s a breakdown in company culture, broken processes, equitable representation of populations historically marginalized in our society, leaders regularly look for ways to fix what’s not working and push the boundaries of what it means to be a company in our modern world. We have educational reimbursement for employees and their children, employee resource groups to better reflect the world we all live in, competitive insurance, 401K, and many opportunities for employees to be recognized for their work (monetarily and otherwise). When you decide to join us, be prepared to roll up your sleeves and put in the work. By doing so, you’ll have the chance to shape the future of our company. At Master, my voice is heard. Yours will be too.

Cons

Working at Master isn't for everyone. We are a flat organization. That means there aren't lots of cogs to hide behind. That's a "con' for applicants because if you aren't ready to roll up your sleeves and do the work to help the company be the best it can (which means raising your hand for projects, speaking up when something isn't working the way it should, etc.) then you will not do well at the company. As a privately held org compensation can be misaligned to national trends. The coming is undergoing tremendous growth but instead of tackling that growth holistically through a project management office and a company-wide organizational excellence framework we go in circles with ad hoc approaches.
