Pros

Create relationships with Professors and the Department Directors and Deans. Builds the confidence to reach out to anyone at school. Builds the confidence to present MATLAB in front of various people in large lecture halls.

Cons

There are not too many cons, except it takes some time to receive the merch you order for your events. I am a RPI MATLAB Student Ambassador and I was fine because RPI is a smaller school so I did not run out of merch but for bigger schools, you might run out of merch fast.
