      Pros

      The project work is often very engaging. Many colleagues are very smart and carry their weight in projects. It's awesome to see thousands of customers using the products.

      Cons

      There are plenty of unofficial leadership opportunities, but since MathWorks has such a flat hierarchy, there are limited opportunities for promotion to leadership positions if you start as an individual contributor.

      Aside from the great colleagues I get to work with, the work-life balance is phenomenal compared to other companies!

      -> Amazing work culture -> Work-Life Balance : cant get better than this -> Great managers , especially in code generation area, your work will truly be enjoyable -> Decent YOY salary hikes -> Long term stability - company has solid financials and a great place to work for if you are willing to stick around for the long term.

      Cons

      -> Average/Below average compensation -> No ESOPs -> Almost Nil perks -> No scope for aggressive career growth, everything moves very slowly here compared to the dynamic environment that other Tech majors in the Indian technical/software sector offer.
