Kind people, horrible leadership

Pros

- The colleagues I work with on a daily basis are some of the kindest and smartest people I've had the honor of working with. - Remote work for flexibility is great. - The work is enjoyable.

Cons

- Leadership is out of touch and claims to care about employee concerns, but no action ever happens from huge amounts of feedback they receive from us. - Leadership continues to make a ridiculous amount of money and collects huge bonuses on top of that, while employees didn't even get raises this last year and we've gone through multiple rounds of layoffs and employees being forced to part time status. - Lots of reorgs that just don't really seem to do anything. - We keep hiring unbillable executive leadership and becoming even more top heavy while simultaneously being told to be more billable, causing strain and stress on already overworked employees. - Huge push to AI without much guidance - Toxic culture due to leadership which makes it hard to feel like you can take PTO or take the weekend off because you have to go above and beyond otherwise you risk being laid off in the next round of RIFs - Benefits being cut due to what's happening in the research space

Pros

Remote, Decent Pay, Smart Employees

Cons

Heavily reliant on federal funding, leadership doesn't actually believe in their own values.
