Everyone is enthusiastic about teaching. Every student has a different curriculum and it's easy to keep track of student progress.

Cons

Some students come in with the idea that they will only get help on their school work. They do not spend enough time on their homework however. Perhaps emphasize the fact that each student has a curriculum that is based on assessments.

Pros

Center hours are generally not during class time. Really boosts your math skills from all the reviewing. Fun chance to teach something you love.

Cons

Difficulty with hours. Often went through cycles where the center was overstaffed in which case each staff member was reduced to two days a week or understaffed in which you were scheduled everyday which can be taxing when teaching children.
