Pros

Fun, engaging atmosphere where you can make a difference in a child's life and the hourly pay is very good for a part-time job.

Cons

Only part-time, and hours can be inconsistent around major holidays or depending on how much business their currently is.

Pros

The pay is around $10 for someone with no college degree, so it pays a lot better than most jobs you could have while going to school. it's fairy easy to advance. I've been offered an internship to become a center director at the flagship Mathnasium, under Larry Martinek. Which can easily translate into a lifelong career. And I'm only 18 years old, so there's no age bias. Really great place, you really feel like you're helping people.

Cons

Limited hours. Most shifts only last 4-5 hours, so working a full work week would mean only getting 20-25 hours a week. If you can even get that. The max amount of hours I can get during the summer per week is around 13.

Pros

Very fun to engage with kids, great people.

Cons

No much career advancement as the centre is small.
