Pros
Engaging with kids and helping them learn can be really rewarding and fun. Helping a student grow and watching them succeed is a great experience.
Cons
In my experience often this company is used as a babysitting service and my experience often was that kids being dropped off right at school paired with ADHD medications wearing led to some very unhappy angry children. Less time was spent tutoring than was trying to get kids to not scream or cry. Pay does not match these expectations and we don't really have any power to tell the kids parents or anything. Theres pressure to better the kids as well as keep them entertained which can be difficult if they frankly don't want to be there at all.
