Pros

Friendly work environment. Fun teaching kids. Flexible Hours. Works well with school. Can pick up outside tutoring jobs for other subjects which pay really well (starting is $20 per hour and you often get paid more)

Cons

The Job can sometimes be stressful.

Getting to interact with and help kids learn is extremely rewarding; laid back environment

Cons

The owner was a bit scatter-brained, and often late with coming out with schedules, pay stubs, etc. - but I couldn't ask for a kinder person!

Plenty of upward mobility, Flexible scheduling, upbeat environment, hard working and helpful coworkers, Boss and upper management really care about each of their employees and the owner might be one of the most hardworking and knowledgeable people in the business.

Cons

Slow start, took some initiative and hard work to move up, relatively low pay at first though not unmanageable. Parents/Customers can be difficult at times, but given that it's education that comes with the territory.
