I felt like the staff was underpaid for the work they had to do.

The management for the Rancho Santa Margarita/Seal Beach branch is untrustworthy and unreasonable. They spent hours talking to me in interviews and got along so well with me. They expressed multiple times that they has the utmost confidence in me and think that I would be an even better center director than ever before. However, after I had signed the offer letter, turned down another offer, and given two weeks notice at my current job, they suddenly changed their mind. When I asked why, they were unable to pinpoint exactly why, but said that they don't want someone that will be more effective, engaging, and better, but rather wants someone who will naturally be like themself. Having done nothing wrong, even in their own opinion, I strongly warn any future employees to watch out for sudden changes of mind and lack of respect for other peoples' livelihoods. I am glad I am no longer working with them because I would never be able to trust them or have any peace of mind/job security while with them. The major con here is that you cannot trust the management of this particular franchise chain (Rancho Santa Margarita and Seal Beach).
