Pros

at least at my center, it is very light work and relatively well-staffed. i've very rarely finished a shift feeling bad about the work, and it's overall rewarding work when the kids understand your explanations. got me interested in the teaching field.

Cons

classic case of managers asking if you can come in on days you marked unavailable as a "last resort" or kids that refuse to do their work. maybe a little slow on raises but truthfully a great job.

Pros

The kids can be fun to teach, especially with engaging math curriculum. Some days it's quiet and you are just grading their worksheets and other days it can get busy and the shift ends before you realize It. The hours are flexible and switching shifts was easy enough to do.

Cons

Not enough pay, especially since it's part time.
