When you have 4+ students at once things can get hectic and its harder to give everyone adequate attention/track progress

Flexible schedule, you work with students at various grade levels. Supervisors are understanding.

You may not get very many hours because the center is only open a few hours per day.

Might be specific to my branch but the boss is pretty laid back which has its pros and cons. Sometimes its great because he understands that we're college students first and allows us the breaks and days off we need but sometimes too laid back that he doesn't do his own work and pushes it off on the instructors. Also working with kids is quite fun and fulfilling. They're funny and mostly all of them are actually interested in being better and really appreciate the help you provide. Easily the best part of the job.

Cons

Not efficient environment but again could just be this specific office. Often takes the boss months to do basic and easy tasks like change the address of an employee or order more supplies. The office often gets very busy which is a pro and a con.
