Pros

Organized, great rate, accessible, job details clearly explained, many benefits, pay on time

Cons

Number one complaint by far is the exorbitant health insurance, with no low-cost options. Parent-child coverage was literally $181 a month more than our house payment and didn't have nearly enough coverage to warrant the cost. Destroyed the good rate. They also lost complete interest in me the minute the client's project lost funding. But they all do that. They can also get annoying checking in on you with calls, texts, and emails. No paid time off.

Pros

NJ Office located downtown Somerville

Cons

Instead of cons, I’d like to point out some red flags for young professionals entering the workforce - • If the company doesn’t let employees fulfill their two week notice AND doesn’t pay them out for those 2 weeks, that’s a red flag. • If the company asks you during your interview what outside organizations because you’ll be expected to work long hours, that’s a red flag. • If the company only invests in training for you only AFTER you make your first placement, that’s a red flag. • If the company is showing you their commission structure and its shaped like a pyramid, that’s a red flag. • If the company contacts you while you are on your PTO, that’s a red flag. • If the direct supervisor ignores your active candidates and placements while they are covering for you so you can return to work and then extend an offer, that’s a red flag. • If the direct supervisor leaves you on “read” after asking for assistance, that’s a red flag. • If the direct supervisor sends you chats daily after work hours saying “how we doing,” that’s a red flag. • If you’re only seeing positive recognition for the same 5 employee’s, that’s a red flag. • If the same 5 employees are continuously getting promoted into newly created positions without their previous role being backfilled, that’s a red flag. • If there is no clear cut path to gain promotions or raises, that’s a red flag. • If the company cleans house of 5-6 executive level CEOs, VPs, Regional Managers, etc. and doesn’t explain why or acknowledge that’s worrisome for their employees, that’s a red flag. • If the staffing company JUST created a Human Resources department, that’s a red flag. • If the company doesn’t have any ethical resource groups or diversity in their leadership team, that’s a red flag. I highly suggest every person considering this role to consider these red flags. Please also read the comment below regarding their diversity and social stance.
