I had worked for Maurices several months before they cut my hours drastically to 3 hours a week. When I asked why the manager said Job performance so I was really surprised because I was always praised about how well I work with people. It was because I hadn't completed all the online stuff that you do when hired. So I sm.being punished for something I wasn't aware of..NOT FAIR! I had 12 paying customers in.three hours that day. So all that hard work.means nothing ? I had as many as 3 people in the dressing room :wining and dining: them. We must greet the customer help them pick out clothes explain all the many items on sale escort then to fitting room and stay close by to assist in any way. I know what my strengths are; communicating well with customers and understanding their needs. I've been in retail.sales many years and this company expects you to do way too much..so I'm not happy that I've been with this co.for awhile and suddenly I find out that I didn't complete all the online training and now my hours are cut back to.nothing in spite of my sales and interacting with customers. Very disappointed and that doesn't include constant straightening and putting all clothes back..so Iit's like a bombshell to find this out..
