      Pros

      - Employee Discount - Great Customers (98% of the time) - Overall a enjoyable working environment within my store - Have met some great DM's with great ideas

      Cons

      - District Managers and higher up's can be hard to work for. - Expectations are sometime's unattainable - Tough to meet yearly expecations in an economical crisis - There are some DM's and RDM's that don't belong in their positions.

      I Loved Working For This Company

      Pros

      This is a really great company to work for. I thought that the opportunity for growth was amazing. I started out as a part time sales associate and within 9 months I was promoted to part time assistant and then to first assistant. I felt close to my co-workers and there is a lot of respect for each other and for the company.

      Cons

      I feel that the more you work up the more you are pressured to overwork. It was hard for me to find a good work/life balance. Also, I became a little too addicted to buying the merchandise and the my co-workers seemed to be the same way.

      Pros

      They usually pay great and have excellent bonuses for Managers. There is a management training program that allows your to advance within the company.

      Cons

      Although all retail employment requires certain achievements. Everything from ADS, UPTs, and SPH but also the quantity of Maurices Charge Cards that you get customers to try for and percent over ly and 7% over ly. The company as a whole tries to mind the bottom line but often fails due to crazy incentives and too many marketing changes.
