Pros

Great supervisors and leads. Management is becoming better at communicating with hourly employees. Most hourly employees are great to work with and easy to get along with. Lots of positive changes are being made plant wide.

Cons

While Lack of employees or poor attendance does hinder production or meeting ship dates of work orders, Lack of proper maintenance leads to a lot of downtime or broken machinery for shifts of lost production.

Pros

The people you work with are awesome. It's enjoyable interacting with everyone and building relationships. The pay is good, benefits okay, and a lot of opportunity to learn all aspects of the business (but only if you seek it out yourself).

Cons

Very outdated. Outdated systems, machines at plants break down all the time, transportation equipment from like 1980. They are very reactive and not receptive to proactivity. A lot of resistance to change or improvements. Most people who are required for changes are either too busy, blow you off, or make empty promises. No feedback about how you're doing, even when you ask for it. Don't really feel valued or appreciated. Often see positive feedback or promotions to people who coast by, but you feel unnoticed when you go above and beyond.
