      Pros

      Flexible with time off Work is beyond easy Location Experience Gained Supervisors are the becaons of light in this project. (NOT management)

      Cons

      HUGE disconnect between Upper management and the "regualr" people AWFUL Pay (bottom 10th percentile!!!). Not always because of contract reasons. People with LESS knowledge and LESS experience get jobs over people that deserve it. Very clique oriented. Your raise is basically determined on who you know. Managers that have NO CLUE what they are doing. Favoritism, Ridiculous office politics. Due to their poor planning, project TOOK AWAY BREAKS for over a month! "Call Center Sweatshop"

      Pros

      Some level of innovation going on in the company. Quite a few talented people working for the company and decent learning experience.

      Cons

      There is a huge lack of resources. The company needs to add resources in order to achieve its goals. Lack of structured roles.

      My job at MAXIMUS was good as an entry-level position after college, but I would not recommend it for experienced folks.

      Pros

      They are in a very lucrative market in providing healthcare services for state governments, so there is a lot of job security with MAXIMUS.

      Cons

      MAXIMUS does not encourage innovation or do a decent job providing stimulating work for their empoyees. Their management is stodgy, very old-school, and the culture is 'conventional corporate'. They do not have any clear defined paths for career mobility unfortunately and many people there are generally unhappy working at MAXIMUS.
