Pros

Startup that requires a ton of hard work. You feel as though you are making a great impact on a product that is making change for the good in the benefits world! Company leadership truly appreciates all that hard work and rewards all employees with great benefits, perks and appreciation. A fantastic place to work and a pleasure to come in each and every day and fight for this great company!

Cons

None to speak of - a lot of hours but if you are passionate about what you do, you won't mind. The company believes in (and practices) work-life balance with benefits such as unlimited vacation, but with a start up, you're always going to be busy...and that's a good thing!

Pros

Maxwell Health is easily the best place I have ever worked. This comes mainly from the people around me, the autonomy and trust given to each and every employee, the respect and transparency that comes with that trust, and the joy of solving big problems in health through technology and imagination. This is a rare experience as it combines a great product, opportunity, and people into one. Oh and Maxwell Health is solving a problem that touches everyone in the world, health! Pros: - Fast-paced. - Really happy, pleasant people, who love what they are doing - Transparent management and ability to have your voice heard everywhere and at anytime! - GROWING, GROWING, GROWING! When on the rocket ship, seatbelt fastened and tray tables up! - Humility. People are open when they are wrong and there is hardly ever criticism only helpful advice and a swat team approach to help that person out - Creating Value > Making Money

Cons

The only real downfall here is the level of responsibility, trust, and time you have to put in. if you want to help change a tough, conservative, expansive industry like health, you have to be willing to dig in and get your hands dirty. This can be very tough and frustrating at times but that is really the only con at this company. - Time. It's demanding and people rely on you! It's a team effort :). We are young and growing, did you expect it to be ping pong and massages all day!? - Need to be a self-starter and constantly willing to learn / adapt. If you don't have this, you will have a rough time. Need to take the initiative. - Growing. Still figuring out a lot of things with new people constantly coming to join. Good problems to have but tough nonetheless.

Pros

There's never a dull moment working at Maxwell. If you want a "clock-in, clock-out" job... this one isn't for you. The Maxwell company is mission-driven, therefore every person here is really invested in what they're doing and take their responsibilities seriously. Some core values that are really important to me, which Maxwell has, include transparency, genuine support and care for employees, a high level of energy (both just generally in the office but also in the pace at which we develop our product and company), and a sense of urgency. You'll never feel that your manager isn't listening or doesn't understand here. It really does feel like you're part of a family.

Cons

The stress level can certainly be high (but we're trying to change the world, what do you expect?!). A flip side to the fast pace mentioned above is that you're pretty much constantly juggling priorities and responsibilities, and you certainly won't "end up" where you start with Maxwell (but I think most of our employees look at that as a positive, not a negative, because you control your destiny here for the most part).
