Pros

The work is meaningful, and nothing can replace the sense of purpose you will feel by being engaged in such a field. As well, the educational leadership team was really wonderful, and my education department manager's leadership was so impactful that it actually inspired me to pursue an MBA in Organizational Leadership.

Cons

Growth opportunities are very limited to teaching and ABA, (but if you are interested in those degrees than it's a great place to start) plus the company is top heavy (limiting access to broader roles at headquarters), meaning that if you have a background, graduate degree, or interest in anything else (no matter how valuable the degree or field) it won't do any good as far as leading to meaningful career advancement. As well, while the educational leadership team was inspiring; the school is really run by the behaviorists, so at the end of the day they will be the ones who make or break the feeling of company culture for you (and it's not a very diverse team). So, if you truly want to teach or do ABA the rest of your life, by all means this is a great spot. But if you have ANY other talents, interests, or degrees; don't become a teacher here because they won't ever let you do anything else.
