      Great benefits, fantastic ESOP plan, the company is very active in the communities where they build.

      Cons

      Can require long hours and a high work load with minimal direction. Some business units have minimal room for advancement.

      McCarthy is a great construction company and has an outstanding reputation in the market with subcontractors and clients. McCarthy prides themselves on being builders, not just managers and it shows through to the high quality work product provided to their clients. 100% employee owned is a plus. It creates a work environment with more accountability. If you work to increase the companies profits, it will be reflected in the stock price, which will increase your retirement.

      Cons

      Work life balance for the operations teams is difficult as is typical with large, complex construction.
