Pros

Great starting job for teenagers. Easy hire, easy advancement, lots of hours and locations to work at. Discounted meals. Flexible schedules.

Cons

Low pay. While it is good to set standards, it seems more like slave labor when the employee is paid a wage that is below the provincial minimum, and yet be expected to do twice as much as more senior staff, with a smile.

Pros

- Medical - Vision supplement plan - Dental - Flexible spending accounts - Short and long term disability - Employee and dependent life insurance - Accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) - Travel and business travel accident insurance

Cons

Classical lose-lose situation: If you work hard and give 100% to the company, you will most likely lose your job to a teenager who will work for much less. No room to grow career wise so its basically a dead-end job so to speak. Enough power to abuse employees because they work for cheap and has no other alternatives. No consideration for the extra task(s) that is done. The constant overshadowing of upper management.
