If you start out doing a later (evening) shift, even if they tell you you’ll get an earlier one, don’t expect it ANYTIME soon. Supervisors have a good heart, but hands are tied by corporate greed and obsession with metrics as opposed to actually caring for the members. Even though we don’t sell anything, the company makes money off of prescription change requests started, so there is a lot of pressure to create them, even if it’s not a good fit for the member and the member is hesitant and leaning towards not interested. You can go above and beyond in your work, and they’ll find some way to screw you over or tell you you’re doing worse than you actually are. They are going to start implementing a new phone software system that utilizes AI, which is a recipe for disaster.
