Pros

You get to work with a lot of smart, motivated, kind people. Lots of support, opportunities to explore different work

Cons

Lots of the work was dry/felt pointless. Such is the nature of the office job, though.

Pros

Fair pay, great benefits, bonus, wellness program, it is what you make it

Cons

Once you're slated in a certain role as a generalist, you tend to stay there. Personal development, career development growth is slow if you're not on a certain track

Pros

You can progress pretty quickly without having to network super heavily. Some really great people work there and I made some good friends.

Cons

The culture is a little odd at McMaster-Carr. In some ways, they are trying to be a modern tech company but some very old attitudes still remain.
