Pros

MedPage Today has some of the best medical journalists in the business. Their writers and editors know the medicine and they write with authority -- which has earned them cred with their HCP readers.

Cons

Nothing that isn't outweighed by the 'pros.'

Larger network of resources and ability for much needed strategic growth.

Cons

Acquisition is never pain free and the buyer, as is typically the case, did not have the immediate vision on integration and change for the better.
