      - Enforcing Return to Office for no good reason - Below average pay for location - Huge workload, not worth the pay - No progression - Recent layoffs (5% of company), yet there are still far too many managers who don't do anything

      Terrible middle management ruins everything

      Pros

      - Flexible and relaxed working environment. - First class office in an excellent location. - Good tech stack, which attracts smart engineers. - Decent travel opportunities.

      Cons

      - The middle management is severely incompetent, takes credit for everything that goes right and shifts the blame to someone else when things go wrong. As a result, it is very difficult to get promoted or recognised if you are not a manager. - Offshore teams that have no idea what they are doing. - Mediocre salary. - No effective feedback cycle, objectives, or career development. - Very bad engineering practices that come from management and their desire to deliver things quickly, which results in bad quality software, a lot of bugs and late hours trying to fix the bugs and release them.

      Not so great place to work after change in management and 3DS acquire

      Pros

      Medidata used to an awesome place to work. But with the change in management in US , a lot has changed in last 2 years. Medidata used to be like a family, but everyone has left now. People now are mere resources. The falling Glassdoor rating of this company says it all.

      No job security Too much work, and too much juggling between work Lack of proper vision Less people centric
