Pros

The work environment is fast and high pressure, but as the saying goes, work hard play hard. I found my colleagues to be very friendly and helpful.

Cons

There does not seem to be a lot of internal opportunities for advancement. Some of the products have issued that R&D is not addressing, which can cause problems down the road.

In my first 90 days, I have had an amazing experience at Medidata! Working for this company feels like you are in a wonderful community! Everyone is so welcoming and helpful! I am so grateful to be a part of this company!

Cons

The only con I have experienced is as follows: At the 90 day mark, I am still lacking all of my home office equipment. I just recently received my dual monitors 3 days ago; however, I am missing a dock to hook up the monitors. It has been a little challenging working on a small laptop.

The company puts a strong emphasis its culture. There are many opportunities to learn and socialize with your coworkers. Teams are allowed to tweak their individual agile processes to work efficiently and comfortably. You will be provided with top notch computers and tools to perform your tasks. Laptops with 1TB SSD and 32GB of ram for engineers and non-technical staff. Tools include Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, ReSharper, Slack, G Suite, and more. Excellent peer review process for software engineers Flex time Work from home Fridays Bagels the first Monday of the month Medical insurance premium paid 100% by the company if you choose the HSA plan option. Quarterly town hall where all staff can speak directly to the founder and ask any questions Internal social network website that allows all staff to see announcement from the company, status of projects, and interact on any topic Excellent transparency overall Two company parties a year

Cons

No cons about the company or its policies. The only negative is the location of the office. The area is not very lively but that would only matter if you want to walk to a bar after work.
