      Very biased based on personal relationships with management

      Pros

      Casual atmosphere. Work from home. Some fun and great people. Parties at fancy locations. Fast-paced with always something to keep busy.

      Cons

      Upper management is not always transparent with communication. Nepotism and favoritism from personal relationships with management. Fiscally cheap in the wrong areas. Must understand office politics to survive.

      Pros

      Awesome culture. Very talented and smart people to work with. Always have a great time hanging out with coworkers. Great industry and we are helping enhance and improve the quality of lives. Great company parties. Best product in the industry.

      Cons

      Very immature VPs in sales and services. Not focused on overall development of employees. Huge egos and personalities you are forced to deal with. Not much room for growth internally. Company views unknown people off the street more than internal employees. If you get an offer with Medidata, make sure you negotiate the highest salary you possibly can. The salary you come in with is the one you will keep as long as you are there.

      - Low key environment - Multiple office locations - Some flexibility with respect to hours

      Cons

      - No clear long term vision on the past of Senior Management - Poor employee motivation skills on behalf of department managers - Executives are profit driven and very little attention is paid on talent-development - No career track. If you play politics and you are in good relations with your management you will do well
