      Pros

      The people that work there are for the most part great. Benefits are awesome. The company is generally sensitive to hardship either personally or professionally and helps to take measures to support their employees.

      Cons

      The salary is lower to comparable positions elsewhere. The chain of command is too large from the development of the product to the support of the product; preventing customers from getting really what they NEED or want.

      Pros

      Meditech only promotes from within, giving all employees multiple advancement opportunities. The corporate culture supports keeping work balanced with family life. Almost all programming is done using their own languages. For those interested it presents the chance to work on the OS and tools not available elsewhere. Benefits are designed to reward long term employees, not those already looking to hop to another job. Meditech is very stable and has never had a layoff. The company maintains profitability even during economic downturns, ensure the security of your job.

      Cons

      Having to work with alot of entry level employees. Quality of newly promoted supervisors varies widely.

      Pros

      Very good benefits package that includes health/dental, profit-sharing plan and generous bonus program. You don't feel like management is constantly pushing for you to stay late and work overtime, which allows for a nice regimented work week. Hospital software in general is a stable enterprise, but Meditech's outstanding reputation amongst hospitals throughout the US, Canada and overseas means that your job is secure.

      Cons

      Disconnect between middle management and lower employees can be frustrating. Not many low level employees can tell you what their manager does on a day-to-day basis due to them being tied up in meetings for the vast majority of time. Currently, there is not enough staff to meet the growing demands of our customer-base.
